Built on the site of the now obsolete Culmstock Station, this former railway hotel has had several face-lifts, but has always stayed true to its roots.
The line was quickly abandoned after the construction of the M5, with much of the old Culm Valley Line forming a network of river paths, including the Uffculme Railway Path.
With the pubs history as a Railway Hotel, it only seems fair to re-open the rooms. A B&B service will soon be on offer for guests. Check our Facebook page for more info!
A DOG FRIENDLY PUB
The Culm Valley Inn welcome all four-legged friends, and have water and treats available to ensure they’re as comfortable as you are during your visit.
Dogs are allowed in the bar area of the pub along with the riverside beer garden. This is the most friendly environment for you and your four-legged friends to feel relaxed, safe, and happy at all times during your visit.
The local village pub is an integral part of community life and The Culm Valley Inn is no different.
We often have visitors who have taken the delightful and somewhat invigorating walk from the village to the Beacon and back.
We embrace the local community. We welcome local bands, artists, events organisers & community groups to pop in and see if we can work together.
